- We planned and executed a fundraiser to help raise money for the rest of the project - June, 2019
- We moved from our small room adjacent to the Maker Space into the former auto shop which has enough space for the plane to be completed - April, 2019
- Students from the class of 2019 started working on the plane - November, 2018
- We requested funding from the Marin County Board of Supervisors and spoke to them. Our speech can be found here starting at about the 31 minute mark - April, 2018
- We started a GoFundMe page (no longer in use, see Donations & Sponsors to see how to make a donation) to help raise money for the initial costs of the project -March, 2018
- A feature article was written about our project in the Novato Advance Newspaper and it's affiliates (the MarinScope includes: Mill Valley Herald, Novato Advance, Ross Valley Reporter, San Rafael News Pointer, Sausalito Marin Scope, Twin Cities Times) - March, 2018
- Our project was mentioned, as well as our website listed in the Marin Independent Journal - February, 2018
- On top of the physical building process of the plane, tasks and focus areas relating to the plane were assigned to students - January, 2018
- Students from the class of 2018 began working on the plane - January 2018
- The STEM Marin Academy at San Marin High School Senior Class of 2018 began working on the plane project-November, 2017
